The Uwell Crown B Pod Kit is the latest addition to the renowned Crown series.
The CROWN B has a design that is unique from most pod vapes on the market. It’s a box-shaped device that is 92mm tall, 42mm wide, and 18mm thick. While the corners are rounded, the edges are not, so it feels rough and sharp in the hand. The CROWN B is also quite heavy for a pod vape at 82g.
Most of the device is made of PCTG plastic, but there’s a zinc alloy bezel that runs along one side. The CROWN B only comes in one color, Iron Gray, so the plastic portions are dark-tinted plastic and the bezel is a gunmetal color.
By way of enhancement, an independent slider has been built into the side of the removable pod. So tweaking a preferred style of airflow is also a possibility.
This holographic design lights up when you activate the CROWN B and glows either red, blue, or green, depending on your battery charge level. It’s rather bright too and there’s no way to turn off the LED completely, so discreet vaping isn’t a strong point of this device.
So everything is powered by an integrated 1150mAh battery which should last the average vaper for anything up to a day’s use.
Fast 2A Type C USB charging is included to get that spent battery up and running again in no time.
The power button is large and circular. It’s surrounded by a click wheel that can be used to adjust the output to one of three levels. Both the button and click wheel feel great, and both work with a satisfying click.
The pod for CROWN B is a box-shaped cartridge. It will hold up to 3.5ml of e-liquid, which is more than average for a pod vape.
